What is in This Collection?[edit | edit source]

This collection contains various census records for various Native American tribes located in Washington State, for the years 1880 to 1952. The records came from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

The records include from the Yakima, Washington, Indian Agency:

  • Census Records: 1929, 1940, 1943, 1948 (NARA Roll 20)
  • Census Records: 1911-1952 (NARA Roll 21)
  • Census Records: 1933-1934, 1940 (NARA Roll 22)
  • Census Records: 1893-1906, 1930-1931 (NARA Roll 23)
